Responsible for the monthly management of information, accounting & reporting for the Industrial Asset Management department.
Monthly management information; accounting & reporting; attend property management & development meetings; analysing property project feasibility; control costs on projects; oversee all departmental aspects of financial management & reporting for Exco; assisting in preparing annual budgets; monthly forecasts & projections; adhoc reporting & other special projects, requests & assignments including involvement in financial aspects of property acquisitions, developments & disposals; timeous distribution of financial information; financial analysis of both existing & future potential clients; competitor analysis; VAT reconciliation, rent roll, invoicing, journals, payments & relating accounting for partnerships. All financial & managerial aspects associated with Property Owners Associations including appointment & management of auditors. Consolidation of results; analysing & reporting on vacancies, arrears, lease expiries, sectoral & geographical analysis.
BCom (Hons) Finance/Accounting/BCompt Accounting; CA/CIMA qualification optional. Minimum of 5 years suitable experience in a finance department with exposure to property. Good understanding of the property business. Commercially orientated with strong operations, managerial & quantitative skills; fast critical thinking & problem solving capabilities. This is a senior role in Industrial Asset Management and this individual would be part of the management team responsible for the fund management.
